Andrew is one of the founders and a Director of NZAB and has more than 25 years’ experience across agribusiness banking, advisory, credit, capital and governance.

He has worked extensively with large farming families, agribusinesses, investors and rural organisations across New Zealand, advising on debt and capital structuring, refinancing, succession, growth, acquisitions and complex ownership transitions. He also has significant experience in transaction advisory, including major farm sale processes and equity raises across both pre- and post-farm-gate businesses in agriculture and horticulture.

Andrew has deep expertise in credit, structured finance and capital markets, including private credit, non-bank funding and equity capital, together with a strong understanding of how businesses can position themselves to attract and deploy capital effectively.

Alongside NZAB, Andrew holds a number of independent governance and advisory board roles across large-scale farming and food production businesses. His governance work spans strategy, financial performance, capital allocation, succession, ownership structures, CEO review processes and major investment decisions.

He is also a regular commentator and presenter on agricultural economics, banking, credit and capital markets, and is widely recognised for his practical understanding of the financial and strategic issues facing New Zealand’s agricultural sector.
