Franny has just completed her Bachelor of Commerce with Agriculture and Professional Accounting at Lincoln University. Since leaving university, she has spent the summer in Twizel, working for the Helicopter Line up at Mt Cook where she worked as ground crew.

Franny has always lived in Christchurch and has a real passion for the agriculture sector. Having grown up in town didn’t give her much exposure to the sector, so in Year 12 she spent her summer holidays working on farms, which she loved. She has been fortunate enough to work on some pretty cool farms around the South Island, giving her firsthand experience in the industry. This inspired her to pursue a Diploma in Agriculture at Lincoln University, which then led to her degree.

In her spare time, Franny loves being outside, boating, and spending time on the mountain during winter. In 2025, Franny got a dog named Moby, who she also spends a lot of time with.
