Jessica was raised on her family’s lifestyle block in Riversdale Southland. Growing up, she developed a deep connection with the rural sector and spent numerous years actively involved with local farmers that were clients of her family’s drainage contracting business. This experience allowed her to immerse herself in various agricultural systems gaining insights into the intricacies of the farming community.

Driven by her passion for agriculture, Jessica pursued higher education and recently graduated from Lincoln University with a Bachelor of Commerce in Agriculture. Jessica is looking forward to giving back to the community that has done so much for her, drawing on her experiences and knowledge gained from both the family business and her academic pursuits
